• Trademark : 名探偵ピカチュウ (English mean: Great Detective Pikachu)
• Scope : Class 9, 28, 41 （Includes Electric game)　
• Applied date : 2013.10.11

After DP 4th Generation, almost half Pokemon names are registered due to trademark international dispute. According to registration rate, no registration of appeared every Pokemon in the game, probably selected Pokemon that related with game main Pokemon, anime, movie and merchandise marketing. That is, to register previous Pokemon name newly is to come again in game, anime, movie and merchandise marketing.

• and has been registered trademark
• and valid trademark on and after XY releasing  (after 2013.10) 
• and devide into B2W2 releasing (2012.6), List 1 as before B2W2, List 2 as after B2W2.

List 1: Low potential Mega Pokemon  (Trademark process done before B2W2)

Lucario,Venusaur, Mewtwo are on the list, but it's coincidence. These trademarks process had been done for FRLG, Emerald, DP, Pt, BW and B2W2, not for XY. Why Mawile is not included because it had been registered by other company.ADD

So looks long way to see all Mega Pokemon in XY, we will enjoy until then :D

New Trademark Pokemon Trreta Battles in US

Trademark topics is continue.
Siliconera.com found the following new trademarks by The Pokemon Company International in US.

• Pokétretta Battles
• Pokétretta Tournament
• Pokéfigure Arena
• Pokéfigure

Seems Pokétretta Battles and Pokétretta Tournament are related to Pokemon Tretta (arcade game) and Pokemon Tretta Lab (Nintendo 3DS game).

In the meantime, AAPF checked related to Poke, Tretta, Figure words in Japanese trademark database, no trademarks of related to the above four, but found the following one newly.

• ポケムーバー　(Poke Mover)
• Trademark No.2013-13696, Applied on 2013.2.15 by personal name as usual
• Scope : Video game, Toys, Amusement Facilities

This person also registered TFG (Trading Figure Game), Spin Figure trademarks so far.

Not sure this trademark is related to Pokemon, also related to PokeFigure at the moment.

==> Confirmed PokeMover (English Name:Pokemon Transporter) is used for Pokemon Bank according to Pokemon Direct. No relation with Tretta.

New Pokemon Battle Game Trademark ? Found

Serebii.net reports that Siliconera.com found the following new trademarks registered in US by The Pokemon Company International Inc recently.

• Pokkén Fighters
• Pokkén Tournament

According to this info, we checked Japanese trademark database, seems the following one is Japanese name.

• ポッ拳 Pokken (Means Pokemon + 拳 fist/boxing/fighting)  Note 1
• Trademark No.5569266, Applied on 2012.10.10 by personal name as usual

There is a high possibility that these are relateｄ to mysterious noise treasure of Blaziken VS Lucario in Pokemon Game Show, looks sort of new Pokemon battle game.

Mega Kangaskhan was announced at WSC last Saturday.
When I saw this news, realized one thing.

"Pokemon Trademark Expands Merc Scope" was posted one year ago. It was a list that registered trademark by Nintendo, Gamefreak and Creatures in 2012.

• Charizard, Blastoise, Gengar, Kangaskhan, Pinsir, Jynx, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, Mewtwo
• Ampharos, Scizor, Houndoom, Tyranitar, Heracross
• Gardevoir, Absol, Medicham, Banette, Latias, Latios, Aggron
• Abomasnow

When AAPF wrote this article, checked trademark by Gazette only. It means did not check relationship with previous registered trademark. Now done to recheck, result as follow. Red color parts are registered trademark NEWLY (as first time registration).

• Charizard, Blastoise, Gengar, Kangaskhan, Pinsir, Jynx, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, Mewtwo

Blastoise and Gardevoir had been registered by other company when game released, so looks skipped to register. Not sure the reason of did not register Kangaskhan, Ampharos and others.
Blaziken and Lucario have been registered in 2002 and 2004. Mawile by other company but expired at the moment.

As for Venusaur why it excludes in the list, because trademark of Venusauris is valid untill 2019, extented in 2009.  

Also noted that list contains many final evolution Pokemon, their all type are unique.
So the question is why do they register these trademarks now.
Hoping the purpose of these trademark will be unveiled near feature.

Nagashima Resort Co. will open Pokemon indoor walk-through attraction 'Pokemon Adventure Camp' in the middle of July 2012, Kuwana Mie, Japan.

AAPF confirmed that the following new trademark have been applied from Nintendo/GameFreak/creatures, according to publicated Unexamined/International Trademark Applications Gazette Vol.605 by Japan Patent Office as of 22 March 2012.

As for related forme, nothing new one at the moment.
Pokemon Tretta seems something related game/toys field. In Japan, word "Tretta" is popular product name as known as bookshelf or bicycle. In meanwhile, AAPF found this in Deviantart :D

Japanese some sites told that Nintendo applied new trade mark 'Pokemon Adventure Camp'. AAPF have confirmed that it has been registered by Nintendo, Creatures and Gamefreak on the Trademark official gazette database. Not sure that it's a game title or event name of Pokemon with U campaign at the moment.

Japanase some sites told that Nintendo applied new trade mark 'Pokemon Adventure Camp'. However, AAPF checked the official database IPDL (Industrial Property Digital Library), it NOT found at the moment.

• ゲノセクト (Genesect ?) : #5377049
• メロエッタ (Meloetta ?) : #5388093

These Pokemon name have been applied by personal person name who are belonging to Hasegawa Patent law firm and BLM Patent office as company attorney on 30 August 2010. Registered on 17 December 2010 and 4 February 2011. Name of trademark right holder will be changed to Nintendo, Creatures and Game Freak later as usual. No include Romaji name at the memento.
So far no found other trademarks by those person names and any 'form/forme'.

Sky Form & Land Form for New Pokemon ?

As for "form" related new Pokemon, the followings are status in trademark database IPDL.

• Another form : Applied on 14 Feb 2008
• Origin form :Applied on 14 Feb 2008
• Sky form : Applied on 20 Feb 2008
• Land form : Applied on 20 Feb 2008

Another and Origin forms have been applied from Nintendo, GameFreak and Creatures. Sky and Land forms have been applied from a private person who looks concerned Pokemon business in Japan.　
Will unveil later step by step.

New Pokemon Game Title ?

As for Pokemon new game in yesterday post, it is interesed in game title.
I just check the registered trademark of Pokemon in Japan by Industrial Property Digital Library (IPDL), the result of unused trademark as follow :

• Pocketmonster Topaz (2003.5 registered)
• Pocketmonster Amethyst (2003.5 registered)
• Pocketmonster Whitegold (2003.5 registered)
• Pocketmonster Tourmaline (2003.6 registered)
• Pocketmonster Moonstone (2003.6 registered)

All of them were registered by Nintendo, GameFreak and Creatures.
So.... one of them will be used to the new game probably ?

Found other info in Trademark Precedent Databease. 'Platina/Platinum' for games/toys trademark registered by Tecmo, it has been revoked on 12 March 2007, request coming from unidentified claimant. Just FYI.
