On 26 December, Tomy have announced to combine subsidiary companies, Yujin (capsule toys), Subarudo (candy toys), Heartland (plush doll), U-mate (stationery/water toys).
New company name is 'Takara Tomy Arts', will operate from 5 January 2009.

One day ahead, movie 12th official site has opened and title/poster are announced in PokemonJP site.
Movie title 超克の時空へ in Japanese, English title is To the Conquering of Space-Time (from Pokebeach.com translation) as mentioned yesterday article, new Pichu info is uploading officially.
As for new Pichu, it is female, name is キザみみピチュウ in Japanese, meaning notched ear Pichu.
Not yet mentioned Arceus, it will come step by step later.

Todays's Pokemon TV animation in Japan had movie 12 info, veiled new Pokemon aired (hidden by question mark). We can see black cockscomb or wing something like that in the following pics. Seems one of baby Pokemon. It is an electric type, yellow color and important position in the movie 12th according to movie director Kunihiko YUYAMA comment.
The movie title will be announced on 13 December.

PokemonCenter Oosaka will mark 10th anniversary on 14 November 2008. They are going to be held Meowth Festa. (Meowth is included as Oosaka logo) The following plush and others will be available at Oosaka only.

Mainichi JP News site reports that Pokemon game Platinum sold 1.43 million (number of package) in 3 weeks since game released 13 September according to EnterBrain (Famitsu) research.
As for weekly game sales ranking in last week, Super Robot Wars Z from BandaiNamco for PS2 was top, Platinum was second.

New Nintendo DS Model coming out 2008

Japanese major economic newspaper Nikkei reports that Nintendo has plan to release the new Nintendo DS model later this year in Japan. New Nintendo DS has built-in camera, music playback and enhanced wireless functions. New model will cost less than 20,000 JPY.
On 2 October 2008, Nintendo announces new DS model 'Nintendo DSi', it will be released on 1 November !

Mainichi JP News site reports that Pokemon game Platinum sold 967,675 (number of package) in just 2 days since game released 13 September according to EnterBrain (Famitsu) research.
In case of DP, it sold 1.6 million in 4 days since game released.
